DSEI 2023

DSEI Exhibition, London ExCel, 12th September to 15th September

This year’s DSEI was the most prominent and extensive showcase in its 24-year history. Focused around the theme of ‘Advancing an Integrated Force,’ it emphasised the criticality of seamless integration across the six operational domains: Air, Cyber, electromagnetic activities (CEMA), Land, Sea, and Space.

With a participation of over 2,800 defence and security suppliers, including major prime manufacturers and over 230 new exhibitors, DSEI stood out as a premier event of its kind. It played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration among governments, armed forces, and the broader industry.

The Wescom Defence booth buzzed with activity throughout the week, drawing a consistent flow of qualified visitors. The defence sales and marketing team were busy throughout, highlighting the immense value our alliances, relationships, and connections bring to our efforts. The presence of The Rt Hon Dr. Andrew Murrison MP, Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence, at our stand was a notable highlight. During his visit, he commended our minefield breaching capabilities and congratulated us on achieving the Gold Award for the Armed Forces Covenant in the Employer Recognition Scheme.

On Wednesday, our invited guests joined us for drinks and canapés, making the event a true success. These interactions held immense value, reconnecting with familiar customers, strategising with current partners, engaging with end users in meaningful discussions, and laying the groundwork for future collaborations. Each conversation having purpose and significance.

Overall, DSEI 2023 was a resounding success, promoting partnerships, innovation, and highlighting Wescom Defence’s role in modern military integration.
