The Rocket Hand-fired Radaflare provides survivors in inflatable liferafts and other small craft with a means of signalling their position to searching ships and aircraft in adverse visibility conditions
APPLICATION
Radaflare can be used in a variety of situations including: distress signalling, radar confusion, radar training and testing, terrain mapping, radar range calibration. The Radaflare red star gives a visual indication of the location of the chaff cloud.
Its dual purpose payload also allows its use in clear conditions.
