Smoke Grenade, Screening, 30 sec, low toxic
The smoke grenade consists of a cylindrical body filled with a smoke composition which is ignited by the next generation of a fly-off lever igniter.
APPLICATION
The Screening Smoke Grenade is designed to produce a dense curtain of smoke to mask the removal or deployment of personnel in tactical and training situations.
The grenade can be used in various military and law enforcement operational and training scenarios such as:
• Interruption of line-of-sight in visible spectrum
• Reducing the accuracy of enemy fire
• Situations where temporary invisibility can substantially increase the survivability of individuals or groups of soldiers
Its outstanding design fulfils STANAG 4497 (Hand-Emplaced Munitions) which means no stored energy in the ignition chain. In the unlikely case the grenade was armed but not used, it can easily be disarmed again.
Upon ignition the smoke grenade will produce a dense coloured smoke over the specified period.
