Training Light Portable Obstacle and Minefield Breaching System T-LPOMBS

The T-LPOMBS is supplied fully inert and replicates in form and function, the operational minefield breaching system, the LPOMBS.

APPLICATION

The optimal and skilled usage of the LPOMBS requires training of personnel using the system in operational areas.

By means of the associated training system, the T-LPOMBS, personnel get used to the steps of the firing sequence.

This live-firing exercise can be done by applying each time new pyrotechnic and inert kits up to 10 times.

Because the T-LPOMBS is equipped with the pyrotechnic kit and not containing explosives, it offers the user a safe means to train safely at reduced costs.

The pyrotechnic consumables consist of one kit including the live rocket which, for cost and safety reasons, is smaller than the one in the LPOMBS, the rocket igniter, the simulator of the detonator and the firing instructions. The inert consumables consist of one kit of packaging inserts and the repack instructions.
