Skydiving with the Army Red Devils
Each year, Wescom Group sponsor the Red Devils, the British Army’s Parachute Display Team, by providing the distinctive red parasmoke used in their displays.
The world famous British Army parachute display team is a non-profit organisation, that exists to recruit for the British Army. They support its charities by raising funds and profile through awe-inspiring public displays and adrenaline-fuelled tandem parachute jumps across the UK and abroad. They carry out more than 60 spectacular parachute displays each year at public events worldwide using Wescom Defence red parasmoke.
Recently a team from Wescom Group tandem jumped with the Red Devils team from an eye watering height of 14,000ft at Skydive Langar in Nottingham.
Adrian Rippon, who works in the stores at Wescom Group HQ near Derby in the UK was honoured for his 35 years’ service with a special VIP jump complete with the Red Devils parasmoke.
Lindy Baguley, Aleksandrs Obodovs, Mairita Salmina, Imants Keze, David Griffiths, Emma Lee, Ashley Spalding, Frances Hunt, Jay Chauhan and Allyson Ogg also completed nerve racking tandem jumps with the Red Devils team.
