Thunderflash
The hand thrown Thunderflash S141 is for use as a training device to provide realistic simulation of battle noise from devices including artillery, bomb, missile, in-direct fire, air dropped weapons and hand thrown ordnance such as grenades.
APPLICATION
As a training aid where the simulation of a small explosive charge is required.
The igniter will cause the safety fuse to burn with an approximate 6 second delay. On completion of the delay, a pyrotechnic composition is ignited resulting in a bright flash and a loud report. It has no harmful fragmentation and can be used on water. The S141 has a striker attached and the minimum safety distance is 5 meters.
