Macro Pyro Card MaPC

The Macro Pyro Cards use circuit board technology for the transmission of electronic information to the operator and the ignition of the effect charges without using additional electric squibs.

APPLICATION

Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT) required a paradigm change of operational and tactical doctrines. Accordingly, the training of soldiers in urban environments has to be adapted. The inclusion of combat effects (rifle fire, explosives, grenades and IEDs) during training demands realistic effects as well as the highest degree of safety. Macro Pyro Cards offer this realism whilst the trainee is still faced with demanding threat situations during the exercise.

5 pyrotechnic effects are applied to a credit-card-size board which is designed mainly for outdoor usage.
