Mini Launch Unit MLU

The MLU is a launching device for the Macro Pyro Card (MAPC) and the Micro Pyro Card (MIPC).

APPLICATION

To enhance tactical realism during training the possibility to simulate different weapon effects such as hostile and counter fire, hits or booby traps, is needed. The MLU, which can be used for outside and inside trainings, as well as on vehicles, enables the soldier to train under stress in force-on-force exercises by providing direct fire and hit simulations. It is also deployable in military operations on urban terrain trainings as a scalable means to simulate detonation from grenades or IED.

Their various effects enable to replicate combat situations. By means of those cards, the launcher provides single shots, bursts or salvo firings.

The device can be operated with either an external power supply or with integrated battery.

It can be wirelessly initiated by an instructor as well as by hardwire when connected to a trigger, a trip wire or a motion sensor.

CHARACTERISTICS

The effects available are those provided by the Macro Pyro Card and the Micro Pyro Card (flash-bang-smoke) which stay in the launcher until they are unloaded. The firing sequence can be programmed by the user to meet his requirements.
